Yang Shih-yun (center), son of Yang Chuan-kwang—aka The Iron Man of Asia—displays the silver medal won by his father in the decathlon at the 1960 Olympics in Rome. The medal is to go on permanent display in the National Sports Training Center’s Hall of Fame in Kaohsiung City, southern Taiwan. (CNA)
